Hi! My name is Amanda and if you had told my teenage self that I’d be obsessed with skin care and a licensed esthetician, I truly wouldn’t believe you.

When I was a teenager, and even into my twenties, my skin was perfect. It wasn’t until I turned thirty that my skin started to change. I struggled with extremely stubborn hormonal acne, melasma, sun damage, etc. The pandemic was the perfect excuse to finally commit myself to the world of skin care and learn as much as I can because I fully understand how much of an impact skin health can have on a person.

Before I was an esthetician, I spent 11+ years working in theatre, opera, and ballet doing hair and makeup! I travelled throughout the United States, and even spent two years in Asia working with the international tour of Phantom of the Opera!

In addition to Mane Slay Esthetics, I run a wig company out of my home called Mane Slay Wigs where I sell styled (by me) wigs to drag queens, theatre productions, cosplayers, people going to themed parties, etc. Have a look below at just a tiny snippet of my work!!
